FRIDAY 2 - SUNDAY 4 OCTOBER 2026:

1 ROOM LEFT

Escape the busyness of daily life and give yourself the gift of renewal in rural mid-Wales. Nestled in a hidden river valley where ancient hills rise gently from farmed meadows, you'll spend a weekend stepping away from the noise and remembering what truly nourishes you. Move between revitalising yoga sessions and invigorating walks, wood-fired sauna heat and cold river dips, exquisite vegetarian feasts and quiet moments curled beside the fire. This is time carved out purely for you, to shed the accumulated weight of busy months, to breathe deeply, move mindfully, eat beautifully, and sink into the restorative rhythms of nature. You'll leave feeling lighter, clearer, and deeply restored, carrying the stillness of the Welsh hills back into your everyday life.

THE VENUE

Our venue is an oasis of calm in unspoilt rural mid-Wales, a Celtic land of forests and mountains. Recently renovated with exquisite attention to detail, the accommodation comprises two distinctive properties. The Mill House is a 200-year-old building that still bears the original cogs and grinding stones from its working days. The Hay Barn is an oak-framed haven with elevated views across meadow fields, the river, and the surrounding historic Welsh hills. Both offer communal spaces that are as cosy as they are welcoming.

We'll gather for meals in the Piggeries, once home to the cart horse, pigs, and sheep, now a beautifully warm dining space accessed via a covered walkway from the Mill House. With its exposed brick, stone floors, and generous wood-burning stove, it creates an atmosphere of conviviality and comfort for memorable shared meals.

We'll sleep in 10 bedrooms with king-sized beds, spread across the two properties. Each has been lovingly created with the highest quality craftsmanship and materials—think crisp linens, luxurious bathrooms and thoughtful touches that make you feel genuinely at home.

Outside, we'll make the most of thoughtfully designed wellness spaces. The wood-fired sauna sits beside the river, where you can cool off with a dip in the clear water or rinse under the outdoor shower. Two hot tubs offer another way to unwind beneath the Welsh skies. Woodland walks meander gently through the site's 10 private acres, while the gravel gardens have been designed as elemental spaces for quiet contemplation and beautiful reflection.

THE YOGA

We'll practise in a bespoke studio with underfloor heating, floor-to-ceiling windows, and an outside terrace overlooking the meadows.

There will be four 90-minute yoga sessions across the weekend, weaving together meditation, pranayama, and asana. Morning sessions will be dynamic, designed to awaken your body and mind for the day ahead. Evening sessions will be gentle and restorative, inviting complete relaxation and release.

All yoga equipment is provided, including mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, and blankets.

Prior experience of yoga is recommended but you don't need to be an expert. All abilities are warmly welcomed. If you haven't practised with me before, you can read more about my teaching style and experience here.

THE ACTIVITIES

You can do as much or as little as you wish. Curl up with a book beside the double-sided wood-burning stove in the Mill House, take a dip in the river followed by the sauna's enveloping heat, or sink into the hot tub beneath the stars.

Beyond the yoga, we'll explore the local countryside on foot on Saturday and Sunday mornings. Alternatively, on Saturday there's the option to remain at the venue for a massage treatment (available at extra cost).

THE FOOD

The food will be fresh, seasonal, and utterly delicious, prepared by our exceptionally talented private chef, Kelly Mason. Kelly is a personal wellness chef working between Notting Hill and Cheshire, and has collaborated on numerous five-star, multi-award-winning health and wellness retreats. Her food is a work of art—beautiful to look at, nourishing from the inside out.

All meals will be vegetarian. All dietary requirements and allergies can be accommodated—please let me know of any specific needs when booking.

ALCOHOL

This is an alcohol-free retreat.

ANIMALS

Resident Shropshire Sheep, Pygmy Goats and Kunekune Piggies will bring added life and laughter to our experience. My dog Asha the Rhodesian Ridgeback will also be with us in communal spaces. If you are allergic to animal fur or uncomfortable being around dogs, please consider whether this retreat is suitable for you.
